the window watcher

my dog is obsessed with looking out the window. wether it's totally peaceful and the only thing moving is a slight breeze whispering through the trees, or another dog is prancing by. my dog loves looking out the windows. it's as if she signed a contract to protect this house from squirrels when we chose to adopt her from the humane society. at the slightest tap on the window sill, she'll jog on over and hop up. her eyes go wide like a baby's, and she leans over, totally transfixed on the outside world. you'll give her a pat and she'll give you a quick 'i love you glance' but then it's back to being a watch dog. squirrels, birds, dogs, humans... anything really. beware of the window watcher. :)
