all things

"i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
-Philippians 4:13

today you can do anything. ANYTHING. so you should go do it. i DARE you to go do something you thought was impossible. i'm already doing one. so now it's your turn. ready. set. GO!

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible."
-Walt Disney

summer has come.

what a lovely week i've had so far. no school. no homework. no teachers. no lockers. no desks. no halls. no binders. no pencil cases. no school busses. no gym bags. no packed lunches. no nothing.

so what do we do instead? have a photo-shoot...make musical theatre dances...walk the dog...make cookies...watch a movie...have friends over...sleep in...write stories...read books...dream big....went to the beach...swung on the swings...wrote some letters...listened to music...cleaned my room...love it...

yep. that's my week so far. how's yours?

well here's some pictures from the photo-shoot:

farewell, until next time... :)

some good news.

i think it's about time we had some good news around here. well, not that this blog is full of bad news. but isn't good news just great?

well first of all, Avery's song is up on itunes and ready to be bought! please buy it, because half of the proceeds go to fighting sma. it's a great song, and it's really really packed with truth.

secondly summer is only a day away. then i'll be free!

that's it folks. thanks for reading. :)

no matter who you are

no matter who you are, you can be brave.

no matter who you are, you can be anybody.

no matter who you are, you can do anything.

no matter who you are, you can be hilarious.

no matter who you are, Jesus loves you.

mee.

me.

Tiny
Always winsome.
Yelling isn't an option.
Loves you.
Opens doors and locks.
Really is an evilbunny.

Daring. sometimes...well...occasionally. depends on the mood...
Easy is pathetic. but i choose it sometimes.
Be yourself.
Old sweaters rock.
Everything is beautiful.
Really wants to smash sma.

okay that was straaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaange but i'm so bored.

the facts.

here are some facts on sma. one of the meanest things ever:

-sma stands for SPINAL MUSCULAR ATROPHY.

-there are three types.

-over 25,000 americans have sma.

-it's the leading genetic killer of babies and toddlers.

-sma doesn't effect the brain, in fact kids with sma are really smart and sociable.

-we ALMOST have the cure.

-it's stolen the lives of too many kids, really precious ones too.

-sma can strike anyone of any age or gender.

-1 in 40 people have the sma gene.

-sma takes away the ability to walk, move limbs, sit up, swallow, cough, eat, and breathe. (depending on the type and severity)

-of children diagnosed with sma before age two, 50% probably won't see their second birthday.
